Spoken Word Poetry lives in a world without boundaries. This panel discussion will examine writing and language as they reflect a society built on polarities, it will also explore the possibilities of change and evolvement through the breaking down of restrictive thinking.

National Poetry Slam champion/educator Regie Cabico; poet laureate of Saskatchewan/shortlisted for 1998 Governor General’s Award Louise Bernice Halfe; internationally celebrated poetry activist/professor Bob Holman; South African poet/professor Kobus Moolman; renowned sound poet/activist Steven Ross Smith and poet/producer Sheri-D Wilson headline this illustrious group that will delve into the deeper depths of Spoken Word Poetry. Moderated by Sister Spit co-founder, performance artist; director and art activist Sini Anderson.
