Youth Slam!

In the 2010 Calgary Spoken Word Festival, we hosted the first ever Youth Slam! It was such a success that we developed a quo-pro relationship with the Calgary Public Library to create a Youth Slam! initiative.

Entitled Central 2nd Saturday SLAM!, it will occur monthly with a Slam! component and a workshop aimed to encourage youth to try and embrace SLAM and spoken word poetry.

The Youth Slams alternate weekends. One month is a Slam, the next month is a workshop.
